During the first months of the Covid-19 Pandemic, hardships related to the restrictions and lockdown, I prayed to God for protection and safety for doctors, nurses and all healthcare workers.
The care they provide is immense. 'We are just human though, unfortunately’ – wrote to me in a letter an anonymous doctor, who came up with this beautiful idea – 'some of us are scared, we all have families. Some are more vulnerable to infections, with comorbid conditions affecting their everyday lives. There is not enough of us, and it gets even worse when we start getting ill’.
