Flexible home care services designed to support daily living, personal care, companionship, recovery and ongoing wellbeing at home.

Care services tailored to individual needs

Mark Care LTD provides a range of home care services for people who need practical, personal or emotional support while remaining in familiar surroundings. Each service can be arranged on its own or combined with other types of support as part of a wider care plan.

Home Care

Home care provides practical support with everyday routines, helping clients stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own home. This service is suitable for people who may not need full-time care, but would benefit from regular visits and dependable assistance.

Home care may include:

  • Help with morning, daytime or evening routines.
  • Meal preparation, drinks and hydration reminders.
  • Light household tasks linked to daily comfort and safety.
  • Wellbeing checks and reassurance visits.
  • Support with appointments, shopping or simple errands where agreed.

Personal Care

Personal care is for people who need respectful, discreet and practical support with intimate or sensitive daily tasks. We understand that receiving personal care can feel difficult at first, so this support is provided with patience, privacy and dignity.

Personal care may include:

  • Support with washing, bathing or showering.
  • Help with dressing, grooming and personal presentation.
  • Continence support where agreed within the care plan.
  • Assistance with getting in and out of bed.
  • Support with maintaining comfort, dignity and routine.

Elderly Care

Elderly care supports older people who want to remain at home but may need help with everyday living, mobility, confidence or companionship. The aim is to protect independence while reducing avoidable risk and giving families reassurance.

Elderly care may include:

  • Regular visits to support daily structure and routine.
  • Help with meals, drinks, mobility and personal comfort.
  • Companionship and emotional reassurance.
  • Support for people living alone or feeling isolated.
  • Observation of changes in wellbeing, confidence or safety.

Companionship

Companionship care focuses on social connection, confidence and emotional wellbeing. It can be especially helpful for people who live alone, feel isolated, have reduced confidence, or simply benefit from regular friendly contact.

Companionship may include:

  • Conversation and regular social visits.
  • Support with hobbies, reading, games or meaningful activities.
  • Accompaniment to appointments, walks or local outings where agreed.
  • Help with shopping or simple community activities.
  • Reassurance for families who cannot visit as often as they would like.

Live-In Care

Live-in care may be suitable for clients who need a higher level of support and would benefit from having a carer present in the home. This can help some people avoid moving into residential care while continuing to live in familiar surroundings.

Live-in care may include:

  • Ongoing support throughout the day within agreed care arrangements.
  • Help with personal care, meals, routines and mobility.
  • Companionship and reassurance at home.
  • Support for clients with more complex or changing needs.
  • Greater consistency for families seeking regular care presence.

Respite Care

Respite care provides temporary support when family carers need time to rest, work, travel, attend appointments or manage other responsibilities. It can be arranged for short periods or as planned recurring support.

Respite care may include:

  • Short-term cover for family carers.
  • Support during holidays, illness or busy periods.
  • Temporary help after a change in routine or circumstances.
  • Personal care, meals, companionship or welfare checks.
  • Reassurance that care continues while relatives take a break.

Medication Support

Medication support helps clients follow agreed medication routines safely and consistently. The level of support depends on the care plan, the person’s needs and the responsibilities agreed during assessment.

Medication support may include:

  • Medication prompts and reminders.
  • Support with routine medication arrangements where agreed.
  • Recording medication support in line with the care plan.
  • Monitoring for concerns such as missed doses or changes in routine.
  • Prompt communication if medication information changes.

Post-Hospital Support

Post-hospital support helps clients return home safely after discharge, illness, surgery or a period of reduced independence. This service focuses on rebuilding confidence, supporting recovery and reducing stress for families.

Post-hospital support may include:

  • Help settling back into home routines after discharge.
  • Meal support, hydration reminders and light practical help.
  • Mobility support and reassurance around daily activities.
  • Support with appointments or follow-up arrangements where agreed.
  • Observation of changes that may need family or professional attention.

Services can be combined into one care plan

Many clients need more than one type of support. For example, a care plan may include personal care in the morning, medication prompts during the day, companionship visits during the week and respite care when family carers need additional help.

We will discuss the person’s needs, routine, preferences, risks and family circumstances before recommending the most suitable support arrangement.
